The patent-pending TwinLock interlock has been designed to give SheerGlide® the ideal balance of strength, style and performance. Its slim 38mm design helps maintain the clean, refined aesthetic Sheerline is known for, while its fully thermally broken construction supports both energy efficiency and security.
Fully integrated into the door system, it allows SheerGlide® to achieve excellent thermal and security performance without compromising on appearance.
Featuring Sheerlines’ innovative Thermlock® multi-chamber thermal design, which is cleverly concealed within the door’s slim frames. This technology creates insulating chambers that form an effective thermal break, offering better performance than traditional polyamide alternatives.
This design greatly increases homes’ insulation against the unpredictable UK weather, with SheerGlide® achieving U-values of just 1.4 W/(m²K) with double glazing and an outstanding 1.0 W/(m²K) with triple glazing.
Security is built into every SheerGlide® patio door we manufacture.
The system features a modular ‘quad’ hooklock, developed by hardware specialists Ingenious Locks & Hardware, to deliver reliable protection and smooth, dependable operation.
