Durable Core
Ultion is unique in that its core is made from molybdenum, a metal that is 25% denser than iron. Molybdenum is not only highly tough but is also incredibly ductile and resistant to corrosion, and it even has one of the highest melting points of any of the pure elements. Whether it’s heat, tools or even acids, the Ultion Bolt that we can supply with our doors is capable of withstanding much more than the typical modern bolt.
Compared to other contemporary bolts, Ultion is tested over 1,000,000 times, whereas typical bolts only have to be tested 100,000 times to meet the TS007 cycle durability test requirements. The Ultion Bolt can provide better protection for longer.
Lockdown Mode
When the Ultion Bolt detects tampering, it enters Lockdown Mode. The additional hidden bolt engages and helps keep homes safe from intrusion. With its own dedicated retaining pin and highly dense, robust materials and engineering, Lockdown Mode offers your customers complete peace of mind.
To go along with this powerful lockdown, the keys used in every Ultion Bolt are 60% thicker than a usual front door key. A thicker key leads to more challenging replication and excellent durability against warping, bending, and snapping.
