The Ultrasky roof extends to the eaves beam, rather than a flat roof, and uses the internal pelmet and external cornice to create a beautiful orangery roof style. The lantern Ultrasky roof is compatible with our structural goalpost and works with large spans of glass or doors.
Each lantern is manufactured to your specifications, leading to fewer complications and a faster installation process. We have aluminium and PVCu finishes available to help the lantern blend with any existing windows or doors throughout the property for a totally seamless aesthetic.
Thermal Performance
Every one of our lanterns incorporates thick secondary glazed panes to ensure they provide great energy efficiency. With no leaks guaranteed and tight weather seals, even heavy rainfall won’t make it through our secure roof lanterns. Double glazing can trap heat for almost twice as long as single glazing, so over time, a modern lantern could end up paying for itself via reduced energy consumption and bills.
